Pope Francis' prayer for Christmas

Christmas is you when you decide to be reborn every day and let God penetrate your soul. The Christmas tree is you when you resist vigorously to the winds and obstacles of life. The Christmas decorations are yours when your virtues are the colors that adorn your life. The bell that rings Christmas is you when you invite us to gather, and try to reunite. You are the light of Christmas when you light the path of others with your presence by your kindness, your patience, your joy and your generosity. The Christmas angels are you when you sing to the world a message of peace, justice and love. The Christmas star is you when you drive someone to meet the Lord. You are also the Three Wise Men, when you offer the best you have regardless of who you give to. Christmas music is you when you conquer the harmony that is within you. The Christmas present is you when you behave like a true friend, as brothers with all human beings. Christmas wishes are you when you forgive and restore peace, even if you suffer. Christmas Eve is you when you are satisfied with bread and hope the poor one who is near you. You are Christmas night when, humble and awake, you receive in the silence of the night the Savior of the world without noise or great celebration; you are the confident and tender smile of the inner peace of an eternal Christmas who establishes his kingdom in you.
