Prayer for Mid-Lent

Lord, my God, since the day of my baptism, I have walked with You. You are the friend of my days of sunshine and my nights of fog, It is You that I have chosen, help me to love You and to remain faithful to You! You, never abandon me, You are the light that enlightens me, even in the heart of darkness. You are the refreshing spring that flows through me and gives me life. Your love for me is so great that even death does not stop You. You are the way, You are the new life! Give me, Lord, on my Lenten journey, to dare to live Your word, the one that gives life, the one that opens the horizon, the one that pushes away darkness, the one that puts man on his feet. Give me, Lord, on my Lenten journey, To dare to share your word, with humility and truth. Amen
