Prayer to Our Lady of Lourdes for conversion

“Marie, you showed yourself to Bernadette in the hollow of the rock. In the cold and shadow of winter, You brought the warmth of a presence, the light and the beauty. In the hollow of our obscure lives, in the hollow of the world where Evil is powerful, brings hope, restores confidence! You, who are the Immaculate Conception, come to the aid of the sinners that we are. Give us the humility of conversion, the courage of penance. Teach us to pray for all men. Guide us to the sources of true life. Make us pilgrims on the move within your Church. Sharpen in us the hunger for the Eucharist, the bread of the journey, the bread of life. In you, Mary, the Holy Spirit works wonders: by his power he placed you with the Father, in the glory of your Son, forever alive. Look with tenderness on the miseries of our bodies and our hearts. Shine for all, like a soft light, at the passage of death. With Bernadette, we pray to you, Mary, in the simplicity of children. Bring us, like her, into the spirit of the Beatitudes.
